Weight & Metabolic Health Concerns
Weight management can be a complex challenge, often shaped by shame, past setbacks, and confusing messages about diet and exercise. Many people underestimate the emotional and social role that eating can play, and for some, food can become a way of coping with stress or difficult emotions. Stress around weight can also make it harder to stay connected to body cues, such as hunger and fullness.
In our work together, we focus on the psychological and behavioral pieces of losing weight and maintaining progress over time. We identify and work through obstacles while building realistic strategies that feel manageable for you. Progress does not have to come from dramatic changes; often, it comes from small, consistent shifts that build on each other over time. Throughout the process, setbacks are not treated as failures, but as opportunities to learn and adjust.
I work with adults who are using GLP-1 medications, as well as those who are not. Ultimately, my goal is not only to support weight management, but to help clients build a healthier life beyond any number on the scale.
