Headaches
Headaches can disrupt work, sleep, mood, and concentration in ways that are difficult to anticipate and even harder to explain to others. They often compound over time: pain increases stress, stress affects sleep and muscle tension, and poor sleep lowers pain tolerance. This cycle can become self-reinforcing, making it hard to identify where to begin.
Treatment focuses on the behavioral and psychological patterns that contribute to headache frequency and intensity. We begin by identifying the patterns involved, then develop a plan to reduce their impact on daily life.
