PAP Adjustment and Adherence
For many people with sleep apnea, PAP therapy can be life-changing for their sleep, but that doesn't mean it is easy to use. Discomfort, claustrophobia, pressure settings, and difficulty tolerating the device are common barriers that can make treatment feel frustrating or overwhelming.
I address the behavioral and psychological aspects of PAP therapy by helping clients build comfort in stages, identify obstacles, and work through avoidance when use feels unmanageable. If you have a sleep apnea diagnosis and equipment but struggle with use, we can work on making treatment feel more tolerable and comfortable, so you can experience the benefits it's meant to provide.
